內襯，在台灣鞋產業的行話又稱為：" 港寶 "。量產鞋多採用塑膠材質；皮革則較為少見，多運用在高訂製鞋市場。其作用在於維持鞋子 定型，讓鞋子製作完成在拔去楦頭後，仍然能夠保持形狀，使其硬挺有精神。別看它小小一片，鞋子要好看有精神，就必須要靠它。它就像是鞋子的骨架般… 通常這樣的小零件只有在製鞋的過程中才會看得到，也較少人提起它。
拜科技發達所賜，還有現在蓬勃發展的社交軟體，讓你們有眼福一窺製鞋的世界。對我而言，每個步驟都極其重要，因為這些都是完成一雙作品必經的過程。也因此，每個組成的零件、每個材料，不管完成後從外觀上看不看的見；穿上去，一段時間你會感受出差別。
啊...這讓我想到一句話，想想這之間奇妙的巧合也是滿有意思。人們常說：不論我們怎麼喬裝打扮，穿得西裝筆挺，真誠的仍然會是華麗衣冠下的自己，而且在每一次的談吐中，由內而外地散發出來。
下次當你買了一雙新皮鞋，在欣賞外觀之餘，也試著多去感受一下穿著一段時間的細微變化，你就會知道自己的鈔票到底花去哪裡以及其價值所在。
LEATHER COUNTER
Components matter, especially something you won't see it from the outside, but, you can feel it when you wear it. Think about it as a metaphor, then you will realize how interesting it could be. A classic phrase we have always said: No matter how we wear or hide by our outfit. A true oneself will always reflect to others from the inner side of our body.
Talk about COUNTER, it's a thin pieces that hide inside every pair of shoes. You can see it only during shoemaking process. Thanks to the internet, now you can possibly enjoy these processes every now and then. Materials can be different, from the most common one: Plastic, to the one I have shown you here: Leather. The purpose for counter is to stronger the structure and keep shape.
Next time, when you buy a new pair of dress shoes, try to feel it a little more. Then you understand how your money goes.
